It is the objective of a manager to help a team member become better at his or her job by pointing out performance issues, aiding in correcting the issues and providing encouragement. Most managers want to be able to coach or counsel their team members to be successful – they just may not know where, and how, to start.
This class will detail the process of coaching for performance improvement, including discovering the reasons for poor performance, as well as working with the team member to come up with solutions to the problems.
