Upselling is proposing the sale of something that complements or adds on to the experience of the original purchase. Other similar terms are suggestive selling, cross selling. Upselling increase guest happiness, retention and revenue. Upselling is no longer an option, but a carefully planned product/service offered to guests.
This class will teach participants the skills needed to operate and execute an upsell program. It will also discuss many examples from different sectors of hospitality together with a suggestion of verbiage to use.
